(PLEASE – share your stories, pictures and recipes by using the simple sharing form on the BLOG and not in the comment section below. Your general comments are always welcomed there. Read on…)
This site is for YOU (and me). Sharing a recipe is only one aspect of the BLOG. The BLOG contains many historical facts, information and images from those countries. Your input in keeping family memories alive is more important today. Many of those who arrived to America have already left this blessed Earth. They have passed much to down to their children and hopefully they will continue that cycle. But what if they don’t. Then those stories, specifically about your family’s history, are lost.
All is going well here on the Slavic Recipe and Informational Sharing Blog.
Here is an update concerning the blog. Remember that survey I asked for your help with? Well, I read and listened to many of the ideas and suggestions many of you noted in that recent survey. I am trying to use those suggestions to make this BLOG and ALL Ethnic Slavic Recipe Sharing even better. Now that school is out and I am not taking Summer classes I am in the process making improvements. (I will be posting soon the highlights of the survey results in a separate message)
With that said, the Homepage will look cleaner and hopefully more user friendly to navigate around the site. Just visiting a single link for one posted recipe and then you leave is not my full intent. For many, you are a 2nd, 3rd more American born generation from one of the many European Slavic countries.
Come by, read, and learn something you may not have realized. More importantly, feel free to participate by sharing your family memories, stories and pictures passed down through the generations. KEEP OUR HERITAGE ALIVE through our foods (recipes) and stories.
Click on the link to check out %SITENAME%. Share our heritage – submit your own family’s images and recipes which will be shared on Facebook, Google +, Twitter, and others FROM this BLOG! Let others feel your pride in those stories and pictures.
