  1. There is so much rich history in regions of the Slavic nations in Europe going back thru the 1400’s & 1300’s when those areas didn’t even have permanent names or formal governments. Just tribal groups. Research some of the recipes posted you can see the progression of a food into the regions

  2. Michael, I believe that is what sets my cooking/recipe site apart from others…. I don’t just call it a “Slavic Cooking” and only just have recipes. The web is loaded with those.

  3. I have also noticed that the Slavic Cooking website has been getting hits in places in Eastern Europe. I even received an email (with broken English) yesterday from someone in Poland telling me that she loved the site. She explained that combining recipes with information about the culture make her feel proud.

  4. Thanks Marie. I’m hoping that with your Hungarian recipes and the link to your page on the website is helping each other spread awareness of the heritages of the Slavic Peoples.
