    • Sorry to hear this Mary. Must be really rough especially for the winter months. Several years back we had a kitchen fire due to a faulty stove which caused smoke damage throughout. We spent the next 2 months in a hotel while the house was being cleaned and repares and upgrades done. But the house insurance company conducted all the sequences including getting the building inspector to sign off on each phase before the contractor could continue. I’m hoping your nightmare will be over very soon.

  2. This recipe is super; I have been making kolache with a yeast dough for years; basically the same recipe. The pastries are flaky and melt in your mouth. Our family likes them much better than the Polish recipe using cream cheese, which is the way my mother used to make them.
